What ever happened to “Let’s Roll”

Townhall.com::What ever happened to “Let’s Roll”::By Dean Barnett
“What a strange and dismal trip it has been for the Western world, going from ‘Let’s Roll’ to ‘Fighting Back Was Not An Option’ in scarcely more than five years. One can only hope that when the history of our era is written, the former will turn out to be the immortal quote, not the latter.”

That’s one thing that bothers me about the reports from the British marines. Now, I understand that I have never served in the military, and don’t know what it’s like, but they basically said they did everything Tehran wanted them to do because they were afraid to get hurt or die. They are *marines*.

It’s very hard to come back to the West, and then try to take back the message that was sent all of Iran’s allies while the camera was rolling. We’ll do anything you want, just don’t hurt us, please and thank you.
